Lathestone is a small studio based in Swansea, Wales, run by Mike Puckett. Trusted experts join when a piece of work needs them. When we say “we” or “us” on this page, that's who we mean.
You're welcome to read, link to, and share this site. Please don't try to break it, misuse it, or pass our words and work off as your own. The content and design here are ours unless clearly credited otherwise.
Consulting engagements and builds are governed by the specific scope and terms we agree with you in writing before any work starts. That agreement takes precedence over this page. Our products each have their own terms, shown inside the product.
For client work: once invoices for that scope are paid, you own the deliverables we built for you (the code, the data, the keys) unless the written scope says otherwise (for example third-party licensed material). We keep the right to reuse general knowledge, patterns and unbranded internals, not your confidential operation.
Prices are in GBP. VAT is added where it applies. Starter packages have a fixed cost agreed in writing; bespoke work is quoted before it starts. Payment terms live in that written scope, typically an invoice, due as stated there. We'd rather pause work than argue about a surprise bill.
Nothing on this site, including the AI compliance pages and the resource library, is legal advice for your specific situation. Compliance consulting and training sit alongside your counsel; they do not replace them.
Where we link to our products or other sites, we're not responsible for content we don't control. Links aren't endorsements of everything on the far end.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute ever got that far, the courts of England and Wales would hear it. We would rather sort things in plain conversation first.
