Introducing Clan Path
A private family adventure journal, built in Swansea for my own family first. What it is, who it's for, and when you can use it.

Our camera roll has thousands of photos of Jax. Very few of them tell you anything. Who was there? What happened just before? Why was that rock pool such a big deal?
Photo apps are good at keeping pictures. They're not good at keeping days. So I've been building something that is.
What it is
Clan Path is a family adventure journal. It has three rooms.
Home is the family's latest: new entries, what friends have shared, quests from school, and anything waiting for a grown-up.
The Journal is where the days go. One entry can hold words, a few photos, a one-minute voice note, who was there and, if you like, a place pinned on a map by hand. A trip of several days becomes an expedition, with an entry for each day. It reads like a book you'd still want in thirty years, not a feed.
The Quest Board holds small real-world adventures to try together, from riding a bike without stabilisers to sleeping under the stars. Each child keeps a passport of the quests they've done. There are no points, no streaks and no leaderboards. If you ignore it for a month, nothing is lost.
Who sees it
Only the people you choose. Every entry has a visibility: Guardians only, Clan, Patrons or Friends. Grandparents join as Patrons for free, so they can follow along and leave kind notes without being able to change anything. Nothing is ever public, and photos of children never leave the circle you set.
When
A private beta starts in January 2027, with twenty to thirty families around Swansea and Gower and a handful of local schools, clubs or venues. The public launch is planned for the Easter holidays 2027.
It starts with a hundred quests and fifteen challenges I've researched around Swansea and Gower. From launch, anyone can sign up.
If you'd like to be one of the beta families, or you run a school, club or place that might send quests in, get in touch.
Clan Path is built by a parent, shaped by families, with expert review under way.
