Lathestone is a small studio based in Swansea, Wales, run by Mike Puckett. Trusted experts join when a piece of work needs them. When we say “we” or “us” on this page, that's who we mean. For UK GDPR, we are the controller of personal data collected through this site.
Only the bare minimum a feature needs to work. If you send us a message through the contact form, we keep your name, email, the optional “what is this about” choice, and your message so we can reply. If you use one of our products, we keep only what that product needs to do its job, and we tell you what that is inside the product.
We use contact-form details to reply to you and, if we work together, to run the engagement. The lawful bases are: taking steps toward a contract (your enquiry), and legitimate interests (running a small studio that can actually answer its mail). We do not use this data for advertising.
We don't track you across the web. We don't sell your data. We don't run ad-targeting or third-party analytics trackers. We don't build a profile on you to nudge your behaviour.
If the contact form is configured to send email, your message is delivered through Resend, our email provider, so it can reach us. Resend only sees what is needed to send that mail. We do not pass contact details to marketers. Trusted experts who join a piece of work see only what that work requires.
Enquiry messages are kept long enough to reply, and for up to 24 months afterwards in case the conversation continues, then deleted, unless we have an engagement that needs them for longer (invoices, written scope, the work itself). You can ask us to delete sooner.
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If you use the theme toggle, your light/dark preference is stored on your device (typically in the browser) so the next visit matches. That stays on your machine; we do not read it on the server.
If we ever add analytics, it will be privacy-respecting and aggregate: enough to know a page is useful, never enough to identify you. We'll say so here, clearly, before we turn it on.
You can ask us what we hold about you, get a copy of it, or have it deleted, at any time, no hoops. Email us and a real person will sort it out. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we have got this wrong.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, where we can, tell you directly.
