Private by default
We collect what a feature needs and nothing more. No tracking across the web, no selling data, no ad targeting. Ask what we hold, take a copy, or have it deleted, any time.
No dark patterns
No fake urgency, no confusing opt-outs, no traps when you want to leave, nothing built to keep you or your children hooked. Easy to start means easy to stop.
Whole-number prices
Fair, round prices. No .99, no hidden tiers, no lock-in. You always know what you're paying and why.
Yours to keep
Your data comes out in formats you can actually use. For client work, the code, the data and the keys belong to you.
Accessible from the start
Built to meet WCAG 2.2 AA: works with a keyboard and a screen reader, with proper contrast and visible focus. Part of the build, not a box ticked at the end.

Held in trust

At least half the profit will go to charity.

Lathestone will own Clan Path through a community interest company. That means Clan Path can never be sold off or turned into a data business, and at least half of its profit will go to charity.

Mike's values-first software studio in Swansea. It will hold Clan Path to look after it, not to earn from it.
The product
Clan Path CIC
A community interest company with no shares and no dividends. Its code, name and domain will be locked to the community for good.
The pledge
Charities
At least half of Clan Path's profit, to be written into its articles. The rest goes back into Clan Path. Published every year.

Lathestone Ltd and Clan Path CIC are being formed in January 2027. Until then, Clan Path is Mike's personal project, and its code, name and domain will be assigned to the CIC when it exists.
